Asics Zaraca 2 Natural, an all-new master piece based on Asics legacy of leisure and looks. Asics designed Zaraca 2 especially for natural running that can be derive from the little wider fit at the toes. The Zaraca 2 is bit softer than its predecessors but offers plenty of ground feel due to thin midsole. The flexible midsole of Zaraca 2 provides feeling of more natural run, while the full length Guidance Line helps to run more efficiently  as well as ensuring correct foot positioning.

Upper: the upper of the Zaraca 2 has completely changed, and based upon the DS Trainer 18, which is an excellent move by Asics. The overlays have been heat welded on, so less stitches, allowing limited irritation, and a better fit.  The mesh is also breathableand very comfortable fit. The round to toe upper fits snuggly around toes without causing any issues.

Outosle: The outsole is largely the same as the previous version, in that it is very flexible to go along with the midsole.The Asics Gel cushioning system in the rear foot makes them feel soft yet supportive to run on while the fit on the whole of the foot is reassuringly tight.

Verdict: The shoes do everything as per runner’s expectations and more. It only weigh 270g, which for a shoe of this type is fantastic, however few runners may expect slightly more due to the gel heel.  It fit very nicely, and the right amount of cushioning under foot provides ultimate response feedback. The only concern is that, the EVA midsole may not last as long as that of a higher end shoe, simply because it is not as high grade.  However, for a shoe costing this much, you couldn’t really ask for much more.
